Siemens to Digitalize São Paulo's Metro Line 4-Yellow Extension
Germany, July 17 -- Siemens Mobility has been selected by Motiva to equip São Paulo's transformative Line 4-Yellow, Latin America's first fully automated and driverless metro system, with latest signaling technology. This landmark project will integrate proven rail technologies, including Siemens Mobility's CBTC (Communications-Based Train Control) technology, and the highest grade of automation (GoA4), among others. The project will add 3.3 kilometers of double-track tunnels, connecting the current terminus at Estacão Vila Sonia-Profª Elisabeth Tenreiro to the new terminus at Taboão da Serra.
