United States, Sept. 22 -- SGE, GE Vernova, Hitachi and Samsung C&T have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) establishing a framework for cooperation on market development and commercial opportunities for the deployment of the BWRX-300 small modular reactor in Central and Eastern Europe and the United Kingdom.The MoU was signed in New York during the Atlantic Council Nuclear Energy Policy Summit, held on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly, in the presence of U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau and Masayoshi Arai, Vice-Minister for International Affairs at Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI).The agreement is linked to the broader Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) for SMR deployment in t...
