United States, Oct. 22 -- Saab Inc., East Syracuse, New York, is awarded a $14,308,164 firm-fixed-price modification (P00026) to a previously awarded contract (N0001923C0049). This modification exercises an option for the production and delivery of one surface ship radar navigation (SPN-50) low-rate initial production unit in support of the Navy's shipboard air traffic control operations. Work will be performed in East Syracuse, New York and is expected to be completed in June 2028. Fiscal 2027 other procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $14,308,164 will be obligated at the time of award. This modification was not competitively procured. Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
