India, June 12 -- The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has cancelled the Certificate of Registration (CoR) of Swaroop Commercial Co. (P) Ltd, a Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) registered in West Bengal, with effect from May 21, 2026. The cancellation order was issued in exercise of powers conferred under Section 45-IA(6) of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934.The company, headquartered at 29A, Weston Street, 1st Floor, Room No. A-8, Kolkata, West Bengal 700012, held CoR No. B.05.05212, which was originally granted on August 27, 2003.
