India, June 12 -- The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has cancelled the Certificate of Registration (CoR) of Rahul Adsorbents (P) Ltd, a Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) registered in West Bengal, with effect from May 20, 2026. The cancellation order was issued in exercise of powers conferred under Section 45-IA(6) of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934.The company, headquartered at 11, Indra Kumar Karnani Street, Room No. 601, 6th Floor, Kolkata, West Bengal 700001, held CoR No. N.05.03013, which was originally granted on November 25, 1998. The registration remained valid for approximately 28 years before the RBI decided to revoke it.With the cancellation of its registration, Rahul Adsorbents (P) Ltd is no longer permitted to transact the ...
