RBI cancels Certificate of Registration of Velmon Tie-Up Pvt Ltd

India, July 16 -- The Reserve Bank of India, in exercise of powers conferred on it under Section 45-IA (6) of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934, has cancelled the Certificate of Registration (CoR No. B.05.04190, issued on April 27, 2001) of Velmon Tie-Up Pvt Ltd, having its registered office at 16, Rameshwar Malia 1st Bylane, Howrah, Howrah,Uluberia - Ii, West Bengal, India, 711101. The cancellation order was passed on June 29, 2026.As such, the company shall not transact the business of a Non-Banking Financial Institution, as defined in clause (a) of Section 45-I of the RBI Act, 1934.
