India, July 16 -- The Reserve Bank of India, in exercise of powers conferred on it under Section 45-IA (6) of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934, has cancelled the Certificate of Registration (CoR No. N.05.06815, issued on July 28, 2009) of Nilay Finance & Leasing Pvt Ltd, having its registered office at Mercantile Building, 1st Floor, Block - A, 9/A, Lalbazar Street, Kolkata, West Bengal, India, 700001. The cancellation order was passed on June 30, 2026.As such, the company shall not transact the business of a Non-Banking Financial Institution, as defined in clause (a) of Section 45-I of the RBI Act, 1934.
