United States, Aug. 18 -- Overland AI Inc., Seattle, Washington, is awarded a $14,305,444 firm-fixed-price contract for the development, integration and testing of a modular, formation-based mission autonomy capability on a heavy commercial vehicle platform. This contract provides for the integration of a mature autonomy stack onto six commercially available heavy-duty trucks to enable robust off-road autonomous driving in support of combat engineer operations.The effort also includes the design, implementation and integration of modular mission payloads, including the M58 Mine Clearing Line Charge, a commercial-off-the-shelf mine roller, lane marking system and counter-unmanned aircraft system.
