United States, June 4 -- Norfolk Dredging Co. of Chesapeake, Virginia, was awarded a $15,762,975 firm-fixed-price contract for the Beach Nourishment Townsends Inlet to Cape May Inlet Project. Bids were solicited online with three received.Work will be performed in Avalon, New Jersey, with an estimated completion date of November 9, 2026.Fiscal 2025 civil flood control and coastal emergencies funds in the amount of $15,762,975 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity (W912BU-26-C-A026).
