United States, July 23 -- NewVac LLC, Chatsworth, California, is awarded a $17,874,470 firm-fixed-price modification to previously awarded contract (N6339422C0009) to exercise options for the manufacture, assembly, test, and delivery of vertical launching system module cables, module deck and hatch cable set, MK 41 Mod 47 ancillary cable set, extender cable set, and B/L VII DDG 51-class AEGIS modernization cable set. This contract combines purchases for the Navy (52%); and the governments of Spain (24%), Netherlands (21%), and Germany (3%), under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program.Work will be performed in Chatsworth, California, and is expected to be completed by September 2027.
