Moran Iron Works Awarded $16.4 Million for Miter Gate Fabrication at Meldahl Lock and Dam

United States, Sept. 18 -- Moran Iron Works Inc., Onamay, Michigan, was awarded a $16,429,613 firm-fixed-price contract for miter gate fabrication for the Captain Anthony Meldahl (CAM) Lock and Dam. Bids were solicited via the internet with six received.Work will be performed in Felicity, Ohio with an estimated completion date of Oct. 31, 2029. Fiscal 2026 operation and maintenance, civil funds in the amount of $16,429,613 were obligated at the time of the award.U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntington, West Virginia, is the contracting activity (W91237-26-C-A006).
