Japan, July 30 -- Mitsubishi Electric Corporation announced today that it invested 10 million U.S. dollars on July 24 in Array Labs, Inc., a U.S.-based developer of satellites and satellite-mounted radar systems, to collaborate on commercializing satellite-based information services, primarily for security-related applications.The aerospace and defense sectors are increasingly using observational data from low-Earth-orbit satellite constellations,1 complementing conventional ground and airborne radar-surveillance methods.
