United States, June 11 -- Metro Machine Corp General Dynamics NASSCO, Norfolk, Virginia is being awarded $17,572,357 modification to authorize new work on a previously awarded contract (N0002423D4100) for the USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) Fiscal 2026 Emergent Maintenance Availability.Work will be performed in Norfolk, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by March 2027. Fiscal 2026 operations and maintenance and Navy funds in the amount of $17,572,357 will be obligated at the time of award and are not scheduled to expire until three months following the award.Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center, Norfolk, Virginia, is the contracting activity.
