United States, April 15 -- Marinette Marine Corp., Marinette, Wisconsin, is awarded a $30,000,000 not-to-exceed undefinitized contract action for advance procurement of long lead time material and associated engineering and design activities in support of four Medium Landing Ship Block 1. Work will be performed in Marinette, Wisconsin (46%); De Pere, Wisconsin (39%); and Kenner, Louisiana (15%). Work is expected to be completed by September 2027. Fiscal 2025 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) funding in the amount of $15,000,000 will be obligated at award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
