Lockheed Martin Space Gets $15.7 Million Modification for Next Generation Overhead Persistent Infrared Geosynchronous

United States, Sept. 30 -- Lockheed Martin Space, Sunnyvale, California, has been awarded a $15,721,117 cost-plus-incentive-fee modification (P00205) to a previously awarded contract (FA8810-18-C-0005) for the Next Generation Overhead Persistent Infrared Geosynchronous.The modification brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $8,262,513,789. Work will be performed at Boulder, Colorado and is expected to be completed by July 31, 2029.The contract is incrementally funded, and no funds will be obligated at contract award. Space Systems Command, Los Angeles Air Force Base, California, is the contracting activity.
