Lockheed Martin Awarded $105 Million Task Order for GPS Control Segment Modifications
United States, July 7 -- Lockheed Martin Services LLC, Colorado Springs, Colorado, has been awarded a maximum $105,000,000 firm-fixed-price task order for Global Positioning System modifications. This contract provides for GPS control segment modifications to provide command and control capability for the next generation of GPS III follow-on space vehicles.Work will be performed in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2030. This contract was a sole source acquisition.Fiscal 2026 research, development, test, and evaluation funds in the amount of $10,068,764 are being obligated at time of award.
