Germany, July 22 -- One of the largest transformation projects in Siemens' recent history is now finished. The opening of the new buildings in Module 8 marks the completion of Siemens Campus Erlangen, which consolidates all company's locations in and around Nuremberg, Germany. The project demonstrates how a former research center can be transformed into an open, sustainable urban district and a modern campus. Since 2014, Siemens has invested around €1 billion in the campus, where approximately 16,000 people from the greater Nuremberg metropolitan region work for the company today.
