Ukraine, June 25 -- Together with European partners, KfW has launched the European Flagship Fund for the Reconstruction of Ukraine on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the European Commission. KfW subscribed for shares in the new fund for the first time today as part of the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Gdansk. The European consortium is made up of the governments of Germany, Italy, Poland and France, their development banks, the European Commission, and the European Investment Bank (EIB).
