Germany, July 23 -- KfW IPEX-Bank, as the mandated lead arranger with a share of USD 100 million, is leading the financing of ten new container vessels for a German subsidiary of MPC Container Ships ASA (MPCC). The financing volume totals around USD 375 million, with a total investment cost of around USD 535 million. Societe Generale is the active bookrunner and agent of the syndicate financing, while other international banks are likewise part of this landmark financing.The financed fleet of newbuilds will include vessels with capacities of 3,700 and 4,500 TEU, expected to be delivered between January 2028 and May 2029.
