Philippines, Oct. 9 -- On October 8, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed a Joint Statement with the Department of Energy (DOE) of the Philippines to promote cooperation in the field of oil security.On the occasion of the Asia Zero Emission Community (AZEC) Ministerial Meeting, the Joint Statement was signed by Senior Vice President Yoshikawa Yoshifumi of JICA and Secretary Sharon Garin of the DOE in the presence of State Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan Takagi Kei.During the opening ceremony of the ASEAN Energy Business Forum 2026 (AEBF-26) held on October 7, JICA received a Certificate of Commendation from Secretary Garin of the DOE in recognition of its contributions to strengthening energy security.As...
