United States, Sept. 22 -- Hydraulics International Inc., Chatsworth, California, was awarded an $34,484,070 fixed-price with economic price adjustment, indefinite-delivery requirements contract for the Mobile Aircraft Arresting System (MAAS). This contract provides for first article unit, testing and production/surge units of MAAS. Work will be performed at Chatsworth, California, and is expected to be completed by Sept. 21, 2027. This contract was a competitive acquisition and five offers were received. No funds are being obligated at time of award. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, is the contracting activity (FA8534-25-D-0014).
