United States, Sept. 8 -- Huntington Ingalls Inc., Ingalls Shipbuilding Division, Pascagoula, Mississippi, was awarded a $12,983,399 cost-plus-fixed-fee, with a special performance incentive, modification (A00405) to a previously awarded contract (N00024-21-C-4205) to purchase commercial material for planning yard support for procurement of common rail upgrade for LPD17 Class USS New Orleans (LPD 18).Fiscal 2026 other procurements (Navy) funds in the amount of $12,983,399 was obligated at time of award, which will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
