Honeywell International Wins $25.9 Million Air Force Contract for Secondary Power Systems Improvement
United States, June 15 -- Honeywell International Inc., Phoenix, Arizona, has been awarded a ceiling $25,883,508 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the Component Improvement Program for secondary power systems and small gas turbine engines. This contract provides for engineering services and research/development to improve safety, reliability, and maintainability of those parts which are used to start main engines.Work will be performed at Phoenix, Arizona, and is expected to be completed by June 8, 2035. This contract was a sole source acquisition.Fiscal research, development, test, and evaluation funds in the amount of $25,883,508 are being incrementally obligated over the next nine years.
