Hensel Phelps Awarded $120.2M Contract for Air Force Academy Facilities Work

United States, July 17 -- Hensel Phelps Construction Co., Greeley, Colorado, was awarded a $120,209,500 firm-fixed-price contract for facilities sustainment, restoration and modernization.Bids were solicited via the internet with four received. Work will be performed at the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado, with an estimated completion date of July 31, 2028.Fiscal 2026 operations and maintenance, defense-wide funds in the amount of $120,209,500 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha, Nebraska, is the contracting activity (W9128F-26-C-A044).
