Norway, Sept. 11 -- Tersan Shipyard has contracted HAV Group's energy design and smart control systems business to act as system integrator and deliver power and automation systems for a newbuild ferry that the Turkish shipyard is constructing for an undisclosed shipowner. In addition to its role as system integrator, the subsidiary's scope of supply includes the complete power system including motors, generators, transformers, AC/DC switchboards and a battery pack. NES will also deliver a charging plug that connects the vessel to onshore charging stations, plus an integrated automation system to the vessel.The majority of the equipment deliveries will be made during 2026.
