France, May 22 -- GTT has won an order from Hanwha Ocean to design the tanks for a 174,000-cbm LNG carrier booked by a European shipowner, according to GTT. The order was placed in the second quarter of 2026. GTT will design the vessel's cryogenic tanks, which will be fitted with its NO96 Super+ membrane containment system. The LNG carrier is scheduled for delivery in the second quarter of 2029.
