United States, March 19 -- Global Connections to Employment Inc., an AbilityOne company, Pensacola, Florida, is being awarded $18,019,905 for full food services and mess attendant services in support of Commander, Navy Region Southeast. The services include preparing, serving, and replenishing food; cleaning facilities, equipment, and utensils; preparation of all salads and fruits; and operation of sculleries. The contract includes a one-year base period of performance and four one-year option periods pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation 52.217-9 which, if all options are exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $99,845,457.
