G & G Steel Awarded $11.5 Million Contract for Culvert Valve Assemblies at Cannelton Locks and Dam

United States, Sept. 29 -- G & G Steel Inc., Russellville, Alabama, was awarded an $11,497,944 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for removal, fabrication, delivery, and installation of culvert valve assemblies for the main lock chamber at Cannelton Locks and Dam.The amount of this action is $11,497,944 with a total cumulative face value of $14,642,943.Bids were solicited via the internet with three received. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of Nov. 8, 2030. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is the contracting activity (W912QR-26-F-A264).
