Four companies are awarded a shared $99.5 million contract for construction of stone navigation structures and related work along waterways.

United States, June 4 -- Luhr Crosby LLC of Columbia, Illinois; Michels Construction Inc. of Brownsville, Wisconsin; Pine Bluff Sand and Gravel Co. of White Hall, Arkansas; and Midwest Construction Co. of Nebraska City, Nebraska, will compete for each order of a $99,500,000 firm-fixed-price contract. The contract covers all plant, labor, materials, and equipment necessary for construction of various types of stone navigation structures and related work.Bids were solicited online with six received.
