United States, Sept. 29 -- FMI Solutions Inc., Biddeford, Maine, has been awarded a $13,948,420 modification?(P00002) to a previously awarded contract?(FA2394-24-C-B048) for characterization and performance testing of hypersonic thermal protection composite material systems.The modification brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $18,977,386 from $ 5,028,966. Work will be performed at Biddeford, Maine, and is expected to be completed by Oct. 1, 2029.Fiscal 2025 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount $2,700,000; and fiscal 2026 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $11,248,420, are being obligated at time of award.
