Italy, April 21 -- Fincantieri and Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings have floated out "Norwegian Aura" at the Monfalcone yard, moving the 170,000-gt vessel into final outfitting ahead of its scheduled spring 2027 delivery, according to Fincantieri. The 344-metre ship is about 10% larger than the Prima Plus-class vessels "Norwegian Aqua" and "Norwegian Luna" and is the first Norwegian Cruise Line ship to be built at the Monfalcone shipyard. It will have 1,976 cabins and capacity for about 3,880 guests. The launch ceremony marked the shift into the final outfitting and interior finishing phase.
