Italy, Dec. 4 -- Fincantieri and ASRY signed a partnership agreement in Bahrain aimed at exploring new cooperation opportunities in the shipbuilding sector, according to Fincantieri. The signing was held during the 46th Gulf Cooperation Council Summit. The companies will evaluate prospects for designing and building surface military vessels of up to 80 meters for the Bahrain Navy and Coast Guard, as well as similar-size offshore vessels and potential export contracts in the Gulf area.
