Japan, Aug. 7 -- The Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) made an equity investment in TriOrb Inc. (TriOrb; CEO: ISHIDA Shuichi), a Japanese startup. The investment, made through JBIC's Special Operations Account, is based on its Startup Investment Strategy. TriOrb develops, manufactures, and sells industrial ball-driven autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) that combine omnidirectional mobility, terrain traversability (including the capability of navigating uneven, sloped, or rough ground), and millimeter-level positioning accuracy.
