Moldova Republic of, Sept. 26 -- The European Investment Bank (EIB) and the European Investment Fund (EIF) - jointly the EIB Group - have signed two guarantee agreements with ProCredit Bank S.A. (Moldova) and Victoriabank S.A. to enhance access to finance for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Moldova. The guarantees are backed by the EU4Business Guarantee Facility, financed from the budget of the European Union.Thanks to the guarantees, Moldovan partner banks will mobilise more than €77 million in fresh financing for SMEs.
