Dean Marine and Excavating Inc. awarded $10,225,450 contract for the repair and rehabilitation of the Lorain Harbor West Breakwater

United States, March 17 -- Dean Marine and Excavating Inc., Mount Clemens, Michigan, was awarded a $10,225,450 firm-fixed-price contract for the repair and rehabilitation of the Lorain Harbor West Breakwater. Work will be performed in Lorain, Ohio, with an estimated completion date of Sept. 15, 2028. Fiscal 2023, 2024, and 2025 civil construction funds in the amount of $8,709,768 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District, is the contracting activity (W912P4-26-C-A003).
