Taiwan, March 4 -- Chunghwa Telecom and Ericsson announced the signing of the "2026 5G-Advanced and AI Intelligent Network Cooperation Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)" at Mobile World Congress (MWC). The collaboration focuses on accelerating 5G-Advanced commercialization, advancing AI -RAN to enhance network intelligence and autonomy, and laying a strong foundation for the evolution toward 6G. Under the MoU, Chunghwa Telecom and Ericsson will jointly drive 5G-Advanced service differentiation by leveraging advanced capabilities such as L4S (Low Latency, Low Loss, Scalable Throughput) and URLLC (Ultra-Reliable Low Latency Communications).
