United Kingdom, July 20 -- CFM International continues to invest in its open maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) ecosystem, building both capability and capacity to meet the forecasted ramp in LEAP engine shop visits, including five-year commitments of more than $1 billion USD by GE Aerospace and more than €1 billion EUR by Safran Aircraft Engines. LEAP global MRO capacity also continues to grow through licensed shops. In the past 18 months, CFM announced three new Premier MRO shops: MTU Maintenance Fort Worth, Texas, which opened July 8, 2026; Iberia Maintenance in Madrid, Spain; and SSAMC in Chengdu, China.
