Norway, Oct. 27 -- Cambi ASA has signed a medium-sized contract with Lusagua, an Aquapor company within the Saur Group, to deliver a thermal hydrolysis process (THP) system and associated equipment for the Frielas Water Factory near Lisbon, Portugal. The project will establish Frielas as a modern regional solids treatment centre, serving the nearby Alcantara and Alverca water factories without requiring additional digestion capacity.Since Alcantara and Alverca do not produce biogas, THP from Cambi will significantly increase the site's renewable energy output, thereby improving its energy self-sufficiency.
