Norway, Sept. 9 -- Cambi has signed a major contract with a joint venture of Metito Water Treatment and Hassan Allam Construction to supply four thermal hydrolysis process (THP) systems and ancillaries for the Alexandria West wastewater treatment plant, in Alexandria, Egypt.The contract begins with an engineering phase. Manufacturing is expected to commence following a later notice to proceed.Cambi's THP technology will treat the plant's biological solids before anaerobic digestion.
