Brazil, June 22 -- A new book from the Brazil-Norway Biodiversity Research Consortium (BRC) presents findings from more than a decade of research on biodiversity and forest restoration in Paragominas, with a focus on Hydro's mining and restoration activities.The book, Amazon Forest: Biodiversity and Forest Restoration in Paragominas, presents findings from research conducted in rehabilitated areas covering approximately 3,759 hectares. It examines how these areas develop over time and how mining activities affect the surrounding ecosystem.The work is based on contributions from 78 researchers across 19 institutions.
