Boeing Awarded $42.9 Million for C-17 Infrared Countermeasures Upgrade

United States, July 21 -- The Boeing Co., Long Beach, California, has been awarded a $42,932,563 firm-fixed-price contract for C-17 Large Aircraft Infrared Countermeasures. This contract provides for performance of all effort required to upgrade configurations into United Arab Emirates C-17 aircraft.Work will be performed in San Antonio, Texas, and is expected to be completed by August 2030. This contract involves Foreign Military Sales for the United Arab Emirates.This contract was a sole source acquisition. Foreign Military Sales in the amount of $42,932,563 are being obligated at time of award. The Air Force Lifecycle Management Center, Warner Robins, Georgia, is the contracting activity (FA8526-26-F-B005).
