Bell Boeing Awarded $35.5 Million for Osprey Drive System Safety Kits
United States, Sept. 14 -- Bell Boeing Joint Project Office, Amarillo, Texas, is awarded a not-to-exceed $35,524,950 cost-plus-fixed-fee and firm-fixed-price, undefinitized delivery order (N0001925F0103) under a previously awarded basic ordering agreement (N0001922G0002). This order is for the procurement of 73 gearbox vibration monitoring and Osprey Drive System Safety and Health Information (ODSSHI) system kits, and 77 Installations thereof as well as 11 prop rotor gear box installations.It also acquires related ODSSHI spares, supporting non-recurring engineering, and associated travel for the government of Japan, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps.
