Bechtel Plant Machinery Inc. awarded $112,833,315 contract for Naval Nuclear Propulsion Components

United States, March 13 -- Bechtel Plant Machinery Inc., Monroeville, Pennsylvania, was awarded an $112,833,315 cost-plus-fixed-fee modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-24-C-2115) for Naval Nuclear Propulsion Components. Work will be performed in Monroeville, Pennsylvania and is expected to be completed by September 2034. Fiscal 2026 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) funds in the amount of $112,833,315 will be obligated at the time of award and funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity. The modification was executed on March 5. 2026.
