Austria, Oct. 5 -- Motorola Solutions announced it has signed a contract with the Austrian Federal Ministry of Justice to equip the country's 29 prison facilities with V500 body cameras. The video technology will be used by judicial officers and correctional staff to increase transparency and safety for both inmates and officers. In a study across 23 prisons in the UK, 79% of participants reported body cameras had a positive impact on their work, increasing their sense of safety and confidence when handling challenging situations.
