France, Oct. 27 -- Atlantic Airways, the national airline of the Faroe Islands, has signed a firm order with Airbus for the purchase of two A320neo aircraft. The order supports the airline's transition toward an all-A320neo fleet, driving operational synergies and streamlined maintenance.Atlantic Airways currently operates four A320 Family aircraft, comprising two A320ceo and two A320neo. The A320 Family is the world's most popular single-aisle aircraft, having won more than 20,400 orders globally. The Family offers at least 20% fuel savings and CO? reduction compared to previous generation single-aisle aircraft, while maximising passenger comfort with one of the widest single-aisle cabins in the sky.
