Ecuador, March 5 -- Alstom, global leader in smart and sustainable mobility, announced that it has signed a contract to provide preventive and corrective maintenance of the railway signalling system of Line 1 of the Quito Metro, as well as obsolescence management and potential upgrades. Alstom also previously designed and implemented the CITYFLO 350 signalling system for Line 1. The contract, valued at 27 million dollars (around 23 million euros), will run for 48 months.
