Congo Democratic Republic of, Feb. 16 -- The Board of Directors of the African Development Bank Group has approved a €10 million trade finance guarantee that will enable Ecobank Congo to boost trade flows across various sectors of the Congolese economy, including services and key foodstuffs.Under the terms of the guarantee, the African Development Bank will cover up to 100% of non-payment risk borne by banks that confirm letters of credit and other similar instruments issued by Ecobank Congo.
