Netherlands, Oct. 6 -- ABN AMRO Sustainable Impact Fund (SIF) and Aviva Investors have committed €100 million to SL Materials, formerly known as Urban Mine. This follow-on investment will enable the company to expand its production capacity, develop new sites and accelerate the scaling of its innovative circular concrete technology.SL Materials enables high-value reuse of concrete from demolition projects in the production of new concrete. Using its proprietary Smart Liberator and Smart Refiner technologies, the company recovers cementitious materials, sand and gravel for reuse in circular concrete applications.
