India, May 15 -- UP CM Yogi Adityanath urged people not to fall for what he described as the "negative politics and narrative" of the opposition, asking citizens to stand with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and support his appeal for moderating fuel consumption and managing expenses amid global economic pressures.

He was speaking at an inauguration and foundation-laying ceremony for public welfare projects worth over Rs.208 crore in Maharajganj district.

Referring to the ongoing geopolitical tensions in West Asia, Adityanath said disruptions in oil supply have significantly impacted the availability of petrol, diesel, and LPG, leading to substantial daily losses for the country.
