India, July 30 -- There is no denying the fact that the blue-collar workforce is a fundamental part of the Indian economy. With a variety of jobs, from security guards to delivery personnel, construction workers, plumbers and electricians, the blue-collar workforce continues to support everyday lives and businesses through sheer physical labour, skill and the ability to confront real-world challenges on the job.

Blue-collar jobs comprise a substantial number of India's total workforce. Yet, even with the major role these individuals play within the overall economy, many continue to experience job insecurity due to their informal employment status, limited access to professional training and lack of recognised qualifications.
